Bank Holiday In June 2023:  Banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days which includes second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. According to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, all banks will remain closed on specified public holidays along with some regional holidays depending on the particular state. Major festivals and holidays in the month of June include Y.M.A. Day/Raja Sankranti on June 15 and Eid-Ul-Adha on June 29. Banks across India will remain closed on June 29 on account of Eid-Ul-Adha whereas banks will remain closed in some states on June 15 for Y.M.A. Day/Raja Sankranti.
